eDiscoveryPrep™ Bates software has a familiar format that is easy to use which allows you to use your case/matter number for future reference. You select the beginning bates number, and prefix. Once the documents are electronically numbered, you have the ability to save a copy, print a copy, and/or create a CD of only your bates numbered documents for opposing counsel. If, after you have numbered your documents you decide that you would like to move the documents around in a different order, you have the ability to move documents around in the order you need, and with a click of the mouse re-bates number the documents.

Electronic Redaction Software

eDiscoveryPrep™ Redaction Software features powerful redaction that removes sensitive and privileged information. Redacted files are then securely saved as PDF files for disclosures and/or production. If, for some reason, the redaction is deemed not privileged - then you, and only you, have the ability to remove the redaction to then save and again exchange with opposing counsel.

Bates Numbering Electronic Documents

With the advent of electronic discovery, the days of needing to spend endless days in a warehouse that contains your client's documents will soon be a thing of the past. Much like the bates stamp and ink that were used to identify and reference documents exchanged in the discovery process. Even further, the days of manually numbering documents using "bates labels" - you know the labels that have had the number printed on them, and then adhering those labels to the documents - is soon to be a thing of the past. Not just because these methods have become obsolete, but because most discovery is now done electronically. Disclosures are exchanged via CDs, and/or as attachments to emails that transmit those documents. Additionally, documents may be "served" using e-filing.
